Incredible Three-Dimensional Wire Cars (12 pics + video)

Lamborghini Countach II

These three-dimensional wire car sculptures by Uk-based artist Benedict Radcliffe are beyond incredible. The cars almost look as though they've been computer generated, but in actuality they are full scale representations made from 10mm steel tubes welded together.

Apparently, local traffic cops weren't so impressed with Radcliffe's masterpieces. When parked on the street over the course of a few days, his wire cars were issued a few parking tickets!

One of my favorite images is where Benedict Radcliffe and Ben Wilson are riding in their two-person peddle power Lamborghini Countach and a traffic cop looks over at them in bewilderment. In their words, “the work questions the combustion engine, celebrates bicycle efficiency, and the striking design of the Lamborghini [is] arguably one of the most iconic super cars of all time…”
