Mysterious Photos of Fluffy Clouds Encased in Glass by Raffaello De Vito

Italian photographer Raffaello De Vito recently unveiled an intriguing series that he calls Atmosphere-Clouds. The primarily monochromatic images feature six cloud structures that are encased in glass and seemingly floating in midair. They resemble the picturesque, fluffy white vapors that we see in the sky on a nice day, and it almost looks as though they were contained in these boxes for safekeeping. We can't help but wonder how the photographer constructed these fascinating illusions.

Dynamic Paintings Feature the Energy of Fencers in Motion

Brooklyn-based Canadian visual artist Aaron Li-Hill creates dynamic images by blurring the lines between illustration, sculpture, graffiti, graphic design, painting, and drawing. The results are works filled with an animated power that emanates from each piece. In just one week, on November 8, 2014, Li-Hill's first solo show will open at White Walls in San Francisco. The collection will feature the artist's study of a fencing culture portrayed in motion.

Voyeuristic Photos Capture Intimate Scenes Through Apartment Windows in Paris

American photographer Gail Albert Halaban has voyeuristic tendencies. When she peers out her window, she not only observes the world, but she documents it with her camera for all to see. In her first series, Out My Window, the New York-based artist staged a series of moments that capture people in their homes from a distant point of view. Now, the artist is back with a second series, also a book, entitled Paris Views.

Playfully Interactive Light Shaped Like an Abstract Bird

Perch Light is a playful light design that looks like a small, abstract bird sitting quietly on the edge of a ledge. It was created by London-based Umut Yamac, an architect and designer who enjoys creating works that blend his interest in traditional materials like metal with more fragile materials like paper. The balancing sculpture is made out of folded archival paper, LEDs, and brass and is illuminated through contact with the brass.
