Photographer Captures the Reactions of Subjects While He is Nude

Trevor Christensen's series titled Nude Portraits might sound provocative, but in actuality there aren't any naked people featured in it. The Utah-based photographer is the one who's nude, and the images he captures are of his subjects' reactions to his clothingless body. It's not a trick or a surprise to them, and Christensen speaks to each person beforehand and explains what's about to go on.

Whimsical Narratives Blur Elements of the Past with the Present

Dancing with Costica is an imaginative series in which Australian photographer Jane Long transformed old photographs into colorful and creative compositions. Long used original glass plate black and white images, originally created by Romanian war photographer Costica Acsinte, as the foundation for her work. She produced surreal stories by colorizing each print and then digitally blending together all of the unique elements into one striking composition.

Artist Uses Melting Ice Cream as Medium to Create Unique Paintings

Instead of using the typical watercolors to create his paintings, Baghdad-based artist Othman Toma uses all kinds of delicious, melting treats as his medium. While the chocolate ice cream bars and colorful popsicles begin to melt, Toma scoops up the liquid with his brushes and begins to paint. The clever collection of work includes lions and tigers bursting from splatters, and minimalist portraits peeking out from the page.
