Beautiful Upside Down Gardens Suspended From the Ceiling

Rebecca Louise Law is known for her breathtaking installations that consist of thousands of hanging flowers suspended overhead. Last February, she was commissioned by London's Garden Museum to create a temporary, site-specific work for their Floriculture: Flowers, Love and Money exhibition. 3,500 multicolored roses were hung on copper wire and suspended in the central part of the historic building. Visitors were invited to walk beneath the ethereal canopy.

Artist Playfully Transforms Street Markings Into Works of Art

With just a spray paint can and some stencils, Canadian street artist Peter Gibson, aka Roadsworth, transforms all kinds of regular street markings into playful works of art. In 2001, the Montreal-based artist began raising an awareness for more bike lanes in the city. During that time, he found inspiration from the lines across a parking lot, the painted crosswalks, and the yellow dividers along highway lanes.

Dramatic Tintype Portraits of Contemporary Celebrities

Initially created for the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, New York-based photographer Victoria Will's Tintypes series features portraits of numerous celebrities that uses an old technique for film development involving a thin sheet of iron coated with a collodion emulsion. The monochromatic renderings, which are produced through the dated method of film processing (most popular in the mid-to-late 19th century), add a dramatic and aged effect to the contemporary actors.

Strips of Film Woven Together to Create Fragmented Photos

Korean artist Seung Hoon Park weaves strips of film together to produce visually intriguing compositions where a fragmented world comes together in complex arrangements. Throughout the series, Textus, his unique approach redefines the typical landscape in mosaic style. To create the unique photographs, Park uses positive 16mm movie film that he cuts into strips and loads into a large format camera.
