Linear Designs of Minimalist Tattoos Gracefully Flow Across Bodies

Using intricate, crisscrossing lines and a minimalist aesthetic, Chaim Machlev creates beautifully-unconventional body art. The Berlin-based tattoo artist etches flowing abstract designs on skin that often spans the length of an arm, leg, or back. Sometimes, the compositions will continue from one body part to another. Regardless of their placement, Machlev's tattoos feature elegant, sweeping marks that look like twisted structures.

Eva Jospin’s Enchanting Forests Crafted Out of Cardboard

In an interesting juxtaposition, sculptor Eva Jospin creates enchanting forests from cardboard. The Paris-based artist cuts and gules cardboard to craft dense, multi-layered and highly detailed forests with stunning depth of field. Gazing into the trees can nearly make a viewer fear getting lost in the woods. The cardboard's corrugated edges form a convincing texture for the bark of the trees, and the paper's natural color works well with the forest theme.

New Surreal Flying Houses Tell Fascinating Stories

Photographer Laurent Chhre continues his Flying Houses series with more surreal photos of buildings flying in mid-air. While his first set didn't have any obvious signs of people living in the homes, the new works show fascinating details of both animals and people either bursting out of or teetering out of the buildings.
