Mysterious Glowing Light in a Finland Forest

Finland-based photographer Mikko Lagerstedt recently posted a series of gorgeous photos under the title The Spirit of Winter. Taken in Finland during 2012 and 2013, they're stellar shots that will make you appreciate the vast beauty of nature, especially in the winter. While many have that misty and moody look Lagerstedt is known for, there are also these three that are stunningly surreal.

We don't know much about self-taught sculptor Nino Orlandi, but what we do know is that he can create some magnificent stories through his elaborately carved wood. From a very young age, the Italian artist has been passionate about sculpture and, although he had to put it aside for many years, he has spent the past 13 years dedicated to his passion for the art form.
