Captivating Body Patterns

A lot of work goes into creating art like this but it's not in the order that you'd think. Yasmina Alaoui and Marco Guerra mix old and new techniques together to create life-size body portraits that are mysteriously beautiful. In the series they call 1001 Dreams, Guerra first photographs their nude subjects in black and white either with film or Polaroid.

Mind-Boggling Water Drop Reflections (13 photos)

As a “fairly keen” gardener, Brian Valentine always had an interest in finding out what was going on in his backyard. Taken to early retirement, he bought a DSLR and a macro lens with the intention of pursuing macro photography as his full-time hobby. (For those of you who are not familiar with macro photography, it's close-up photography of very small subjects and it typically requires using a macro lens.)

More Clever Works by Slinkachu (3 total)

Fantastic Voyage With the Last Resort installation he started the year off with a bang and now London-based street artist Slinkachu is back with more incredibly clever works for 2011. Watch as a green shoelace turns into a Loch Ness-style monster, a half eaten chicken bone is utilized as a convenient bench and a red Lego brick becomes a rebel's rock.
