London Zoo Releases Fascinating X-Rays of Its Animals

While most of us have seen human x-rays, have you ever had the chance to see what your favorite animal looks like on the inside? The ZSL London Zoo is giving the public a small glimpse of what's underneath the surface of some of their animals by released a selection of animal x-rays taken during routine health checks. The zoo is home to 18,000 animals that undergo examination by an expert team of veterinarians.

Extremely Rare Black Emperor Penguin Captured on Film for the First Time

Filmmakers from the BBC were in for a surprise while in Antarctica for the wildlife series Dynasties. In the midst of a group of emperor penguins, one special member of the flock really stood out.
