Watch 10,000 LEGO Bricks Go Against a 300-Ton Hydraulic Press in a Match for the Ages

LEGO blocks may be tiny, but they are definitely mighty—just ask anyone who has ever stepped on one. Since humans seem to be no match for a single block or a dozen, the team at Hydraulic Press Channel appears to have found a worthier competitor in their heavy machinery. To measure the strength of LEGOs, they built a slab of 10,000 blocks and tested it against their 300-ton hydraulic press.

Over 485,000 Kids Get Free LEGOs To Play With Thanks To Nonprofit Donations

In 2019, LEGO launched the Replay program, allowing people to donate unwanted LEGO bricks back to the company for redistribution at children’s non-profits across the United States. This year, LEGO commemorates the 5th anniversary of its innovative Replay program. In the past five years, more than 161,000 boxes of LEGO bricks have been donated through the program, adding up to an astounding 580,000 pounds of recycled product.

Set to launch on January 1, 2025, the collection revisits their iconic partnership that first debuted on the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2003 runway. When the original collection dropped in the early 2000s, it became instantly iconic. Street Artist JR Designs Stunning Carriage for the Orient Express

French photographer and street artist JR, known for his signature black-and-white photographic images, has taken his work on the move, specifically onto the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express (VSOE). In his collaboration with this private luxury train service, JR designed an entire train carriage suite called L’Observatoire. His project—manifested as a creative, cozy space filled with micro-environments—was founded upon the vision of the original carriage designers, giving the train a pre-1945 feel.
