As the spring flowers begin to bloom, there’s more than one way to celebrate the return of their beautiful colors to the landscape. For starters, you could bake an amazing buttercream flower cake. But if the culinary arts just aren’t your thing, there’s another unconventional approach to capturing the stunning hues of the season; try wearing your hair with a unicorn flair! The latest in hair trends features the likes of pastel blues, purples, and greens that make you one with both the flowers as well as the majestic horned creature.

Unicorn hair is a spectrum. Some wearers opt for a style that’s more muted and incorporates bits of vibrant dye and pieces of blonde hair woven within. Others embrace the look and rock hues that are reminiscent of a vibrant Lisa Frank illustration. But regardless of how it’s worn, the dreamy coloring confirms that hair is a serious form of self expression.

If you’re longing for these locks and want to DIY, Lime Crime makeup has just revealed a series of Unicorn Hair dye. Their first four hues feature appetizing names such as “Strawberry Jam” and “Neon Peach,” but don't eat them—use them to make your unicorn dreams come true.

Feel magical—and celebrate pastel spring colors—with the beautiful unicorn hair trend.
