Exquisitely Beautiful Botanical Tattoos by Alice Carrier

Tattoo artist Alice Carrier specializes in creating beautiful blooms that'll make you want to frolic in a field of flowers. Her realistic drawings translate into permanently-inked adornments all her over clients' bodies, and they're perfect for those that want to keep part of nature with them.

Bouquets of flowers, birds, and butterflies are all things you'll see in Carrier's tattoo designs. According to her, these preferences sprout from being “born on the winter solstice, left handed, and descended from Salem witches.” The results are undeniably exquisite and also reminiscent of biology textbook illustrations. Carrier uses solid black outlines for definition of forms, and then she'll apply a realistic shading technique that brings the botanicals to life.

Carrier works for Wonderland Tattoo in Portland, Oregon and is so popular that she's currently closed for bookings. It's not hard to see why.
