Smoke moves in mysterious way. Using this characteristic to his advantage, Turkish-born artist Mehmet Ozgur mastered a technique where he photographs streams of smoke and then digitally manipulates it into recognizable shapes and figures.
Currently living in the Washington D.C., Mehmet is an engineer who is fascinated by nature, both technically and aesthetically. “I feel humbled every time that rare light appears or that rare inspiration flames my imagination,” he says. “I feel grateful that I was given means to see, feel, and appreciate the beauty.”
