Designed by Gyeongwan Koo, the “To be Nature Wood Chopstick,” while having a mouthful of a name, is a new and interesting concept in eco-friendly design. The chopstick has the head of a starch cap which contains a seed. When one is done with the utensil, one can put it in soil where the starch cap will break down and the seed can grow. Maybe one day we will see entire gardens grown out of these clever chopsticks!
