Miniature “Star Wars” Planters Infuse Intergalactic Fun into Any Decor

A couple of Star Wars’ most iconic vessels have arrived to help you display your favorite air plants. Redwood Stoneworks has created miniature versions of the Millennium Falcon and Death Star which are designed with small holes to showcase the wild green leaves for which these plants are known. The serious nature of the two fictitious settings—especially the Death Star, with its desire for galactic destruction—suddenly seem playful thanks to these natural additions.

To create these pieces, Kimberly Periat, the artisan behind Redwood Stoneworks, uses plaster cast from molds that display the fine details of the respective ship and battle station. Both the Millennium Falcon and Death Star are available in a variety of colors and finishes, including gold, silver, and realistic painting. They’re perfect for your shelf or desk, but if you’re looking for something larger, the Falcon also comes ready to hang on your wall.

You can get this Star Wars home decor in the Redwood Stonework Etsy shop.

Don't have a green thumb? No worries! Redwood Stone also sells Star Wars-themed hanging sculptures:
