Is someone playing a joke on us? Are these stairs actually supposed to be used? No, not quite. Hanging high in the sky is a scary stairway made by conceptual artists and architects Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann.
The metal steps are attached to the exterior concrete wall of a towering Swiss skyscraper. They're ten stories off the ground and do not come with a safety handrail. Instead, they're just supposed to scare the living daylights out of us.
