Custom Flipbooks Use Sweet Animations to "Pop the Question"

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, love is in the air, and so are many marriage proposals. The Flippist, also known as Ben Zurawski, has a unique, totally endearing way to pop the question – he'll create a custom flipbook that will ask for you! His small, hand-drawn picture books tell a story, that when flipped, produce a sequential animation. They usually end with the all-important phrase, “will you marry me?”

These sweet books have a cartoonish style to them, and Zurawski tailors his illustrations to the couple's likeness and places that are part of their love story. If that wasn't charming enough, he's even engineered a way to put the ring in the back of the flipbook. What a great ending and wonderful beginning to an engagement. Better yet, it's a special keepsake for the couple and one that they're sure to cherish for the rest of their lives.

Zurawski is taking commissions for custom flipbooks. If you're interested in having one made, contact him through his website.
