Winners of the 2015 International Landscape Photographer of the Year Contest

After months of receiving breathtaking landscape shots from photographers around the world, the winners of the 2015 International Landscape Photographer of the Year competition have just been announced. From 2,604 entries submitted by 481 professionals and amateurs across the globe, judges selected the 101 best images that will eventually be made into a book. From that pool, photographers and individual images were awarded top honors including International Landscape Photographer of the Year, International Landscape Photograph of the Year, and five special subject awards.

This year's International Landscape Photographer was Perth, Australia-based Luke Austin, who wowed the judges with four spectacular images that capture the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. For his stunning portfolio, Austin takes home a cash prize of $5,000, a bespoke copy of the International Landscape Photographer of the Year book printed by Momento, and a trophy.

From misty mountains and sky-high waterfalls, to moonlit pools of water and snowy banks, this year's top photos are a testament to the skills of the photographers as well as the magnificence of the earth. Scroll down to see the winning shots, and check out the rest of the finalists here.
