Berlin-based artist Lee Wagstaff creates abstract paintings with a secret. While at first glance you may be immersed in the myriad of complex patterns that blanket the canvas, take another step back and you'll discover a human face staring back at you. Each of his paintings features a portrait of an AI-generated face concealed within the repeating forms of the design. There is no magic to his process, however.

Artist “Draws” Amazing Portraits by Weaving Thread Around Nails

Instead of drawing with pencils, Konstantin Hlanta “draws” with string. The self-taught artist creates vivid works of art by wrapping colorful pieces of thread around nails. By doing so, he renders human hands and eyes, and even animals in amazing detail. Originally a dentist, Hlanta began making string art three years ago. His favorite band, Linkin Park, inspired many of his first pieces, and he has been continually honing his craft ever since.

Lucky Baby Is Born at 2:22 in Room 2 on 2/22/22

The birth of baby Judah Grace Spear was special for more than one reason. On Tuesday, the newborn came into this world at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center at 2:22 in room number two of the hospital, on February 2 (2/22/22). This incredible sequence of numbers won't be possible again for another two centuries (on 2/22/2222). Judah's mom, Aberli Spear was extra thankful for her daughter's incredible birth.
