Scientists Prove They Can Detect Traces of Life in Grains of Extraterrestrial Ice

Scientists have long thought that they could detect evidence of extraterrestrial life by examining the ice found on planetary bodies. With signs of ice on Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, this poses many exciting possibilities for researchers. A recent study found that rather than having to extract an ice core from planetary bodies, similar to how scientists study Antarctic ice cores, they would instead only need one grain of ice.

By using a palette knife to apply and manipulate thick paint on the canvas, the New Zealand-based artist is able to mimic the three-dimensionality of different blossoms. Who can resist a baby animal in distress? Certainly not a well-intentioned English woman, who discovered an abandoned baby hedgehog on a sidewalk one evening. Worried for its safety, this unnamed woman took the tiny critter home and nursed it through the night, before taking it to an animal hospital in the morning. Once she got to the hospital, a startling discovery was made—the hedgehog wasn't a hedgehog at all.
