Incredible Winners of the 2024 International Landscape Photographer of the Year

Over 3,600 entries were submitted by professional and amateur landscape photographers, and now the winners of the 11th annual International Landscape Photographer of the Year have been announced. Canadian photographer Andrew Mielzynski and Japanese photographer Ryohei Irie were singled out for having the best portfolio and individual image, respectively. Mielzynski's portfolio captures everything from snowy white winters in Ontario to the rusty sands of the Atacama desert.

Mother Tiger Teaching Cub How To Fight Wins Nature’s Best Photo Awards

A fascinating photo of a young tiger coming into his own has won the 2024 Nature's Best Photography International Awards. Taken by Mangesh Ratnakar Desai at a tiger reserve in India, the image beat out over 25,000 submissions from photographers in 62 countries. Showing a mother tiger teaching her son the skills he will need to survive on his own, the image gives us an insider's look at life in the wild.

Astonishing Photo of Millions of Monarch Butterflies Wins 2024 European Wildlife Photographer of the Year Contest

Jaime Rojo's image of an incredible butterfly sanctuary rose to the top of 18,000 photographs submitted to the 2024 European Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest. Organized by the German Society for Nature Photographers (GDT), the contest honors the talents of Europe's wildlife photographers. In the Forest of the Monarchs won Rojo the overall prize and was captured while the photographer was on assignment for National Geographic Magazine.
