Massive 20-Story Flower Mural Sprouts From Jersey City Skyline

Wildflowers aren't commonly found in urban spaces, but artist Mona Caron is slowly changing that fact. The San Francisco-based artist creates massive murals of plant life as part of her ongoing WEEDS series. Her newest addition is a 20-story mural of a flower that sprouts from the Jersey City skyline. Commissioned by the Jersey City Mural Arts Program, the piece depicts a plant that is native to the site called Eutrochium.

JR Creates Dazzling Illusion Across Façade of Rome’s Palazzo Farnese

French street artist JR is continuing his series of monumental trompe l'oeil installations with a new piece at the French Embassy in Rome. Titled Punto di Fuga, or Vanishing Point, he has opened up the façade of the Palazzo Farnese. Home of the French Embassy, this Renaissance building is returned back to its roots by JR, who has created a classical world across the façade.

Artist Transforms Building Façade in France With Delicate Painted Lace

Polish street artist NeSpoon is known for creating murals based on delicate patterns of antique lace. And now, she's brought her unique style to a small town in French Brittany. Painting for the In Cité, Festival écologique d'Arts Urbains, NeSpoon transformed the façade of a building into a stunning work of art. As usual, the artist turned to the past in order to create the pattern for her work.
