They say that dog is man's best friend. With this in mind, it's not surprising to learn the lengths that some pet owners go to in order to prove their puppy love. Some take their furry friends on dog-friendly movie dates; others pamper their pups with pet campers; and most, believe it or not, even smooch their pooches more than their own partners!

According to a recent survey conducted by pet food company Riley’s Organics, 52% of dog owners in the United States kiss their canines more than their significant others. The same percentage also admitted that they prefer sharing their bed with their pups over their partners, and a tail-wagging 94% said that they consider their dogs to be their best friends.

Fortunately for Riley's Organics, these findings support the backbone of their brand: a belief that “dogs are family.” So, make no bones about it: there's nothing wrong with giving your canine companion a kiss!

According to a recent survey, over half of dog owners kiss their furry friends more than their partners. So, give your pooch a smooch!
