Most dog owners would agree that it’s difficult to leave your furry friend at home when you’re going somewhere that doesn't allow them to come along. While most movie theaters don’t allow canine companions, K9 Cinemas in Texas does. Not only does the pet-friendly cinema welcome your furry pals, but it also provides unlimited free wine and whiskey!

The concept for K9 Cinemas was conceived by owner Eric Lankford in 2018 when he was fed up with leaving his Australian Eskimo dog, Bear, at home. Since then, the cinema has been busy entertaining man and his (or her) best friend every night since. While you won’t be able to see the latest releases here, K9 Cinemas holds themed nights and one-off screenings (such as Game of Thrones).

Tickets cost $15 and admit one person, one dog, and free wine and liquor. You can bring a second dog for an extra $5. You can also buy food, and there’s even dog-friendly treats available, so your pooch won’t miss out on any part of the experience. Once inside, the comfortable seats allow you to chill out while your dog can watch the movie or take a nap beside you.

Understandably, the theater asks that all moviegoers clean up after their dogs, and first-time visitors must bring veterinary papers to confirm their dog is up to date with vaccinations.

K9 Cinemas in Texas allows you to bring your dogs into the theater.
