Have you ever wondered what history’s most famous artists would be like if they lived today? Portuguese artist UntitledSave visualizes this concept in a series of amusing art prints that reimagine iconic artists such as Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dalí, and Vincent van Gogh as modern-day urbanites.
The artist has cleverly digitally rendered each image, merging the faces of artists with the bodies of real-life people. Salvador Dalí takes on the persona of a hip street photographer, Frida Kahlo is a trendy millennial, and Gustav Klimt looks perfectly at home with a case of his self-named craft beer. One image even features Dalí, Picasso, Van Gogh, Klimt, and Andy Warhol together as a cool gang of skateboarders. UntitledSave also turns artists’ subjects into modern-day hipsters—Mona Lisa looks just like an Instagram influencer and the Girl with a Pearl Earring strikes a pose as Girl with a Denim Jacket.
