Time and time again, imaginative stylists and hairdressers have proven the creative potential of hair. From interesting optical illusions to looks inspired by mythical creatures like mermaids and unicorns, there are endless examples of this growing phenomenon. One individual who has helped transform the trend into an art form is Ursula Goff, a creative colorist who specializes in inventive hair art.
Goff's creations are dominated by color. Favoring a Technicolor color palette, she fashions unique hairstyles that range from rainbow abstractions to geometric patterns. As an added twist to these already impressive creations, she also employs hologram-inspired hues and glow-in-the-dark dyes, which she dabbled in long before the days of Instagram. “I've been using UV sensitive color for almost 20 years, y'all!” she proudly proclaims in a post.
In addition to one-of-a-kind dye jobs, Goff also creates styles inspired by prolific works of art. These unique reinterpretations of art history include iconic pieces like Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night, Edvard Munch's The Scream, and Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe Pop Art prints. Like her tonal experiments, her more figurative works of hair art prove the artistic merit of coloring, cutting, and coiffing.
Specializing in color, stylist Ursula Goff creates one-of-a-kind works of hair art.
