If you’re a pet owner, chances are that a quick scroll through your iPhone Photos app will reveal a ton of pictures of your furry friend(s). Well, then the upcoming release of the iPhone 11 is sure to pique your interest (and have you reconfiguring your budget). Apple has announced that its smartphones now have Portrait Mode for pets. This means you can snap hi-res images of your dog, cat, iguana, turtle—the list goes on!
The iPhone 11 launches on September 20, 2019 and boasts two models: iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Their release signifies Apple's most powerful duo of smartphones yet. Both were created with photographers and filmmakers in mind and have a new Ultra-Wide camera lens with the ability to shoot in 4K—among other amazing features. But you don't have to be a professional photographer to enjoy the latest iPhone Camera app. With features like Portrait mode, its use of dual cameras has made it possible for everyone to shoot stellar pictures of their world.
Although capturing good pet portraits is the best part about the upgraded Portrait Mode, it’s not exclusive to just humans and animals. Plant parents, rejoice—this setting can also be used on indoor jungles and other objects as well. Meanwhile, some iPhone X users say their portrait mode works just fine on their pets right now.
