Playfully Energetic Figures Constructed With Colorful Wire

Hungary-based artist Judit Rita? Rabczky playfully molds strips of wire cables together to create her series of energetic human figures. She welds the colorful pieces into acrobatic and seductive poses that seem almost lifelike.

As a result, the whimsical and mischievous work is filled with a lively energy that emanates from each body. Rabczky pays close attention to detail in shaping the outlines and curves of her sculptures. She uses either a single metal or a rainbow of colors to show the flexibility and stretch of the human form.

The artist creates a harmonious balance of thin wire lines that follow the impressive movement and flow of various muscles. The complex arrangements seem like three dimensional line drawings that may come to life at any moment. Placed within a gallery space, the freestanding forms can be inspected from every angle and viewers can fully appreciate the thorough and meticulous attention to detail across the body of every figure.
