Modern Fireplace Mimics the Fluid Curves of a Flame

Design studio Nuvist has just unveiled their spectacularly modern Mvtikka fireplace, bringing a highly contemporary form to a long, unchanged furnishing. The studio, which is known for their extremely organic and sweeping products, continues its brand of design with the innovative domestic amenity. It is both different enough to stand out, yet retains enough subtle elegance to blend in with its surroundings.

Drawing inspiration from the natural fluid lines and shapes found in flames, the fireplace is both complex and simple. Dynamic curves flow across the rectilinear surface creating a gentle opening that holds the fuel. Available in a range of eye-catching colors, the designers state that the piece “has been envisioned for all kind of contemporary and classical interior spaces.”
