Ingenious Lamps Allow Plants to Grow Indoors without Direct Sunlight or Water

Designers Emilia Lucht and Arne Sebrantke (of Studio We Love Eames) developed a lamp that allows plant lovers to grow greenery anywhere. By using LED lights in place of direct sunlight, the Myrdal Plantlamp is able to create its own self-sustaining ecosystem. This allows the product to mimic the process of photosynthesis, so no water or care is required on our end.

Designer Chaz Hutton has created an ongoing series of charts that focus less on the facts and more on the funny, frustrating, and relatable things that happen in our daily lives. On Instagram, where he's known as @instachaaz, he shares simple graphs drawn on yellow sticky notes, which cover everything from furniture to coffee to weekend plans. Hutton's hilarious handiwork is inspired by the little things in life.

Geometric Sleeve Tattoos Visually Crystalize Across the Body

Brandon Crone combines multiple tattoo styles to produce cohesive, stunning pieces of body art. Fusing dotwork, blackwork, and geometry, he adorns clients' arms and chests with designs that flow from intricate angular structures to large areas of solid black. In addition, the non-inked areas of skin create secondary patterns found within the negative space of the tattoos.

Sinuous Animal Sculptures Made Out of Foraged Wood and Metal Scraps

Jason Waldron integrates a deep appreciation for wildlife and nature into his weathered wooden sculptures. Built using materials found scattered around his home in Central Oregon, Waldron recycles bits of wood and metal parts into creative, free flowing arrangements. Waldron believes that art is first and foremost a reflection of the artist, and thus uses his sculptures to represent personal and spiritual transformations within himself.
