Photographer Captures Charming Diversity of Colorful Front Doors from Around the World

Sparked by a natural curiosity for stunning exteriors, Portuguese photographer Andr Vicente Gonalves began to document the different window architecture that he came across throughout his travels. His project Windows of the World, presented a vibrant collage of glass panes and architectural detail. Since embarking on this traveling photo project, the artist expanded his portfolio with a project titled Doors of the World–an offshoot of the first successful project, in which he showcases a series of charming front doors.

Famous Van Gogh Painting Is Turned into a Real Bedroom to Rent on Airbnb

At the Art Institute of Chicago, it's now possible to stay in a bedroom that Vincent van Gogh had immortalized through his post-Impressionist work. His iconic painting titled The Bedroom was translated into a life-size replica and features all of the details from its namesake, including: thick, sculptural brush strokes; distressed green floorboards; and a haphazard arrangement of furniture and artwork.
