Fantastic Surreal Landscapes by Painter Jung-Yeon Min

Paris-based artist Jung-Yeon Min paints fantastic, dreamlike landscapes that are both beautiful and intriguingly grotesque. Playing with form, space, perspective, and scale, the Korean-born artist uses acrylic on canvas to create surreal scenes filled with warped expanses of land, towering organic life, and fleshy appendages that sprawl and twine like vines or tentacles. Min's paintings, which blend Western and Eastern aesthetics, invite the viewer to explore a world as alluring as it is frightening.

Winners of Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014

Winners of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards were recently announced and the photos are better than ever! The competition, which is put on by the Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide, is one of the exciting photo competitions around because of all of the great entries. This year, they received more than 42,000 from 96 countries.

Gorgeous Kinetic Rain Installation in Singapore

If you're ever walking through Changi Airport in Singapore, make sure to take in this breathtaking art installation by ART+COM. Called Kinetic Rain, it's composed of two parts, each with 608 rain droplets made of lightweight aluminum covered with copper. Suspended from thin steel ropes, each droplet seem to magically float as they move precisely with one another, thanks to the help of hidden computer-controlled motor. The whole choreography takes 15 minutes.
