Couples Passionately Kissing by Ben Lamberty

Though at first glance these photos look like stills from the strangers kissing video that went viral, in actuality this series was created even before that video was shot. Last summer, photographer Ben Lamberty took a spontaneous photo of a couple kissing and the photo turned out to be, in his words, “so cool” that he decided he needed to make a series out of it.

Shipping Containers Painted as Cages in Powerful Series by ROA

Street artist ROA is known for his realistic, larger-than-life murals of animals, and he's taken his talents to the North West Walls Festival in Belgium. He was invited to paint in the city of Werchter and utilized an unconventional canvas for his monochromatic illustrations. A giraffe, goat, bear, and more are found on shipping containers rather than on cement walls.

Inspiring South African Homeless Man Sells Books on the Streets for a Living

Meet Philani Dladla, a 24-year-old bookworm who lives on the streets of Johannesburg, South Africa. Instead of panhandling to survive, the so-called “Pavement Bookworm” reads, reviews, and sells books in order to earn a living. The young man's deep appreciation for the value of books was sparked when he managed to rescue himself from drug addiction by reading self-help books. Now, Dladla acts as an unlikely book ambassador and role model for young people.

Architect’s Impressive Tree House Design Built by Scout Troops

Tree house designer Baumraum has done it again. This time, the architects created a meeting place for a scout group near Wolfsburg, Germany. That doesn't mean that they built the elevated structure, though. It was actually constructed by the troop of young people on the Almke Campsite, which undoubtedly gave them the opportunity to learn valuable skills.
