With an expanded 2025 edition, the International Pet Photography Awards is showing an even wider range of talent in the world of animal photography. This year's contest had over 4,000 entries from 45 different countries. The competition was fierce, but in the end, photographer Katie Brockman walked away with the title of International Pet Photographer of the Year. An award-winning St. Louis-based photographer, Brockman added the title to her already impressive list of achievements.

Efforts To Erase Banksy’s New Mural May Have Actually Amplified His Message

Earlier this week, on September 8, 2025, a new mural by anonymous street artist Banksy appeared on a wall in London. Specifically, the artist painted it on the Queen's Building in the Royal Courts of Justice complex, and it wasn’t long before attempts were made to erase it, leaving the controversial work partially removed. Banksy has never shied away from politics, but his latest piece appears to have struck a particular nerve with the British government.

Native American Artist Adorns Labubus in Traditional Chilkat Woven Designs

Artist Lily Hope has devoted her work to elevating Chilkat weaving and, through it, tackling current and historical cultural expressions. She has previously found inspiration in masking during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating face coverings that contained artwork found on ceremonial dancing blankets made by the Indigenous peoples of the Northwest Coast. Most recently, her creativity was sparked by the accessory of the moment: Labubus.
