Photographer Captures Storybook Fox Photos Using His Homemade Camera Trap

Capturing photos of wild animals can be tricky. A camera trap is one way that photographers snap stunning pictures of the creatures in their environment without disturbing them with a human presence. Photographer Ross Harried recently unveiled a series featuring an inquisitive fox that had wandered close to his homemade camera trap, and the results are beautiful. The images look like they are from a storybook.

Poignant Wooden Sculpture Conveys Layers of Human Conflicts Contained in One Figure

Spain-based artist David de la Mano captures the strife of human conflict in his latest work of art. Titled Under the Skin, this large-scale wooden sculpture was installed at the European Parliament for a collective exhibition on human rights. It features a silhouette of a woman's head containing numerous scenes of conflict painted inside. De la Mano uses his background in sculpture and public art to convey many narratives in a single piece.

Stunning Aerial Photos Elevate Agriculture Landscapes Into High Art

Based in Wyoming, Mitch Rouse uses aerial photographs to explore his interests in different industrial sites around America. One of his latest projects is titled Farmland and is a different look at the fields and crops that are an everyday part of many people's lives. Through his lens, these familiar agricultural landscapes transform into high art. Rouse uses the precise geometry of these landscapes, as well as their color, to produce a set of striking images.
