The idea for this unlikely partnership came from Bernhardt's longtime fascination with nostalgic textiles.

Ballerina Olga Smirnova Leaves Bolshoi Ballet After Denouncing War in Ukraine

Russian ballerina Olga Smirnova has shown her disdain for her country's invasion of Ukraine by leaving the Bolshoi Ballet. Smirnova, a prima ballerina who has been with the historic company for a decade, will now dance for the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam. Her decision lends another voice to the Russians who are denouncing Vladimir Putin's decision to invade Ukraine. Like many Russians, Smirnova has family ties to Ukraine.

Designer Hides the Name of Major Cities in Minimalist Illustrations of Landmarks

Yemen-based graphic designer Mohamed Al-Jaadaby builds iconic monuments using only letters. His ongoing series of minimalist illustrations feature the names of some of the world's most iconic cities inside of major landmarks. To achieve these puzzling designs, Al-Jaadaby manipulates each individual character to fit the architecture associated with the metropolis.

LEGO Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Molotov Cocktails Raise Funds To Support Ukraine

Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, organizations around the world have been stepping up to raise funds to help the embattled country. Chicago-based Citizen Brick, which makes custom LEGO minifigs, is doing its part in a unique and creative way. On Instagram in early March, they announced a special President Volodymyr Zelenskyy minifig and little Molotov cocktails, with all proceeds going to support Ukraine.
