Italy-based musician and photographer Roberto Bertero captures breathtaking shots of men standing atop massive mountains, their silhouettes gazing out into the horizon and taking in the majestic beauty of the landscape. His collection of images are visual symphonies, each an ode to the incomparable beauty of nature. It is this beauty that inspires the physically and mentally laborious adventure to the top.
From high above the ground, nearly nestled within the clouds themselves, there is almost a surreal quality to these scenic landscapes. Though, Bertero says, “Post-production must [never be] invasive, in full respect to the supreme art of nature and to the enormous efforts made on the spot. Rather a valuable support to compensate the intrinsic limitations of our cameras.”
