The stars have certainly aligned for this project. Photographer Ignacio Torres combines the natural beauty of stars with the art of photography to create Stellar gifs. The Texas native started this project after finding out about a popular theory; that we are made of cosmic matter as a result of the death of stars.
“I created imagery that showcased this cosmic birth through the use of dust and reflective confetti to create galaxies,” shares Torres on his website. ” In addition, space and time is heightened by the use of three-dimensional animated gifs. Their movement serves as a visual metaphor to the spatial link we share with stars as well as their separateness through time.”
