NYC Shop’s Rainbow Bagels Are Making Breakfast a Lot More Colorful

The Bagel Store is one eatery that's making a colorful splash in Brooklyn (and all over social media). For the past 20 years, bagel artist Scott Rossillo has been crafting his vanilla-flavored, rainbow bagels, which are created with a detailed, time-consuming process. In the time it normally takes to make 1,000 bagels (5 hours), Rossillo's only able to make 100 because of the dyeing, layering, and twisting that's involved. However, once this process is complete, The Bagel Store's shelves are lined with some incredibly unique bagels, which can be topped off with equally uncommon cream cheese flavors like funfetti, Nutella, and cannoli cream.

In addition to his rainbow bagels, Rossillo also creates other tasty flavors, such as seasonal favorites and those that are perfect for sports fans. There's the Denver Broncos Bagel, Carolina Panthers Bagel, Cotton Candy Bagel, and even one for Valentine's Day. There are also several selections that feature a fun, edible glitter.

If these bagels sound like the perfect treat, you can visit the store in person or order online. Plus, if you're looking for another unique dessert later in the day, you can always stop by NYC's Black Tap for the “craziest milkshakes in America.”
