Baker Creates Spectacular Animal Constellation Cookies and Cakes

animal constellation cookies

Self-taught baker and author Heather Baird focuses her website, Sprinkle Bakes, on her inventive sweet treats. Her out of this world desserts reach new heights with her latest confection—constellation animal cookies.

Looking like they came straight from a far off galaxy, these cute desserts are a mix of colorful fondant over a dark chocolate animal cookie. It's not the first time that Baird, who was an aspiring artist, has created galaxy-themed desserts. Black velvet nebula cake and zodiac constellation cake reflect her love of astronomy.

But Baird doesn't limit herself just to outer space. Her website is filled with tutorials on how to bake all types of clever desserts, from LEGO sugar cookies to lemon mochi chicks. There's plenty of inspiration to be had by following along with her work, and her detailed tutorials ensure that any level of baker will come away satisfied.

This creative baking makes the galaxy look good enough to eat!
