Minimalist Muppets Wins T-Shirt Design Contest

After seeing our post on Threadless’ new Muppets Collection, WeLoveFine.com reached out to us to tell us about a similar contest they just wrapped up on their site. Of course, we loved this one called “Your Favorite?” that shows all of the main Muppet characters without faces. Minimalist Muppets, we say! (Coincidentally, this was also the grand prize winner.)

It was designed by Sandra ‘Kashizzle’ Gibson who had this to say about it:

“I had such a hard time picking a favourite muppets character that I decided to draw…a lot of them! This design features 21 stylized portraits of the main cast of The Muppet Show – which one is your favourite?”

Congrats to Gibson who won the $1000 cash prize. Make sure to check out all five winning designs at WeLoveFine.com. We also loved “Dr. Tiki” by Patrick Johnson (first prize) and “A Beaker Beaker” by Steve Thomas (one of three runner-ups).

As with all of their shirts, they’re officially licensed Muppets merchandise.
