Father and His 8-Year-Old Son Recreate the United States in Amusing Food Puns

Chris Durso, creator of the site Foodiggity, and his eight-year-old son make food fun with their amusing project titled Foodnited States of America. They started the endeavor back in 2014 with the idea to recreate the states out of specific foods that double as puns. The shape of New Jersey is cut out of jerky and renamed New Jerky. Similarly, California is fashioned out of kale and deemed Kaleifornia. If you enjoy “punny” expressions, Durso and his son are sure to make you smile (and maybe even hungry).

The clever series aims to reproduce all fifty states in this style. So far, the duo is up to 25 and recently finished Cransas (Kansas). Foodnited States is an Instagram-based project, and you can follow along with the hashtag #foodnitedstates on the @foodiggity Instagram.
