Irving Harper was a very successful industrial designer during the mid-20th century. He is credited with many modern furniture design concepts, including the marshmallow sofa and the ball clock. In addition to this recognized work, Harper also maintained a more private collection of paper sculptures, which he made during his free time as a stress-relieving side project.
Irving Harper: Works in Paper is a recently published book that focuses on Harper's extensive career as well as these magnificent paper creations that have never been exhibited before.
