Jessica Stewart

Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." Powerful Art Installation Gives a Face to Civilians Living in Conflict Zones

Artist Alice Pasquini is known for her colorful, uplifting street art, but recently, she lent her talents to shed light on the plight of those living in conflict zones. Her installation, Not a Target, tells the stories of civilians and medical professionals affected by five different wars, from Ukraine to Sudan. Photo Contest Celebrates Excellence in Architectural Photography

The proper photography can make a piece of architecture pop by accentuating its design. In awknowledgement of this, the Architecture MasterPrize (AMP) recognizes excellence in the field of architectural photography with its Architecture Photography MasterPrize. Now in its fourth year, it complements the organization's awards for architectural design, product design, and the best architectural firms. Photographers Albrecht Voss and Franco Casaccia were named the overall winners for their exterior and interior photography, respectively.

Yayoi Kusama Reveals Her Largest Permanent Public Installation in London

Renowned artist Yayoi Kusama has revealed her largest permanent public sculpture, Infinite Accumulation. Located at London's Liverpool Street Station, it was commissioned as part of the Crossrail Art Programme. Reaching over 32 feet high and 39 feet wide, Kusama connects stainless steel mirrored spheres with winding lines that create arches to embrace commuters. These linked spheres are a nod to her signature use of polka dots.
