Massive Flower Arrangement Is Encased in Layers of Ice

The frozen landscape of Hokkaido in Japan was adorned once again by one of Azuma Makoto‘s surreal installations. Using a colorful assortment of bouquets and plenty of water, the Japanese botanical artist created a towering frozen sculpture. All of the flowers and plants remain trapped in this striking form, still vibrant and in bloom, for as long as the layers of ice remain.

Actor Michael J. Fox Welcomes His Adorable Pup Named “Blue”

The Fox family has gotten a little bit bigger. Recently, actor Michael J. Fox delighted his followers on Instagram by sharing a photo of their newest member—a fluffy multi-colored pup with striking eyes, aptly named Blue. The pair posed in an adorable picture that has already garnered more than 700,000 likes and nearly 8,000 comments. Blue is held against one side of Fox's face, so their blue eyes are side-by-side.

15-Year-Old Photographer Makes Toy Cars Look Like Life-Size Autos

Finding the right subject is a struggle for many photographers. That's why some get creative with what is available to them. 15-year-old photographer Anthony Ryan Schmidt uses his ever-growing collection of vintage miniature cars and his iPhone to capture images that use forced perspective and fool the eye into thinking these tiny cars are the real thing. Schmidt's interest in automobiles can be traced back to when he was just a toddler.
