Students Honor 72-Year-Old Teacher Retiring After 50 Years With Applause Throughout the Hallways

A retiring teacher from Michigan got a massive “thank you” in the form of a moving school-wide send-off. Dr. Sheridan Steelman, who is 72, retired after working at Northview High School in Grand Rapids for 50 years.
