Many proud parents celebrate their baby's first birthday with a simple party, some cute presents, and a messy, cake-covered ending. But what if your son is the baby prince of Bhutan? Why, you take an adorable official photo and turn it into downloadable desktop wallpaper, of course!

To mark the first birthday of their son, Jigme, on February 5, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema have opted to share a sweet snapshot of the precious and popular prince. (You may recall the King and Queen celebrating the birth of their precious prince last year by planting 108,000 trees.) Posted by the Bhutanese website Yellow, this new portrait of the toddler serves as a calendar for February, “the month of new beginnings,” and features the little prince clad in yellow, cheerfully showing off his matching toy truck. The photographs also honor the King's birthday (February 21), but we're sure he doesn't mind that his son's getting all of the attention!

In addition to this too-cute-for-words wallpaper, you can see more images of Jigme and the rest of his happy family on the Queen's Facebook page. Like Yellow promises, the pictures of the royal baby “will melt your heart!”

On February 5, 2016, the baby prince of Bhutan was born.
