Greek artist Eleftheria Stamati designs geometric jewelry that impressively mimics a game of Tetris. Using her background in sculpture, the creative utilizes thin strips of metal to form 3D shapes resembling an illustration that's been brought to life. “What interests me more in my research is how the infinite void can shape a familiar and identifiable existence by using the fundamental element of Euclidian point,” Stamati explains. “I design and create jewelry thinking as a sculptor. I consider space as a bulk of matter on which I interfere by removing pieces until I capture the ideal final shape that merges luminosity, harmony and effortlessness.”
Each necklace features a design on the front and a variation of that design on the back. With these two pieces being connected by a thin chain, the designer creates beautifully minimalistic elegance with the added illusion of three-dimensionality.
