Disorienting Rainbow Room in Germany

Imagine walking into a room as dizzying and as disorienting as this! Well, now you can. That is, if you live in Germany. Showing at art center Kunsthalle Nuernberg until Sunday, October 12, is Markus Linnenbrink's latest work. Known for his rainbow colored installations, the artist used acrylic, pigments and epoxy resin on walls, floors and ceilings to make this magnificent piece of art.

The installation is just one of many at Kunsthalle Nuernberg's exhibition Off the Wall. Linnenbrink joins fellow artists like Cornelia Baltes, Benjamin Houlihan, and Alexander Wolff in this intriguing show. The artists were all given three dimensional, architectural exhibition spaces to work within. The exhibition's name, Off the Wall, is a play on words, meaning both off the canvas and unorthodox or unconventional.

Love how some of his paint dried while dripping.
