Their solution for housing mobility was an unconventional yet practical one–they built a dwelling that would travel with them. This 8-meter-tall steel sculpture by Georgian artist Tamara Kvesitadze is not only a stunning example of mechanics and design, but also a depiction of eternal love between nations. The structure symbolizes the story of Ali and Nino, two lovers from different religious backgrounds. Every night at 7pm, the two figures begin changing positions, moving towards one another until they meet in a brief embrace, before passing through and continuing on their path.

Unraveling Ceramic Sculptures Are an Eloquent Reminder of Quickly Passing Time

Seoul-based artist Haejin Lee creates ceramic works that look as though they'll unravel at any moment. Concentrating primarily on the human body, the sculptor fashions heads and feet that look mostly whole, but have ribbon-like strands rippling from the top of each piece. They appear in various stages of disarray, with facial features that have been twisted and multiplied, which adds another facet of eeriness to the already-surreal works.

Sculptures of Blue Men Submerged in Water Leave Visual Commentary on Climate Change

Argentinian artist Pedro Marzorati recently completed a poetic land-art installation in the center of Montsouris Park in Paris, which comments on the theme of globally rising water levels. The electric blue busts seem to either be rising out of the water or, contrarily, being overwhelmed by the waves. Ultimately, the take away from this enigmatic piece is dependent on your perspective. Entitled Where the Tides Ebb and Flow, this powerful work has successfully managed to arouse public curiosity.
