Stone-Filled Elephant Sculptures Finally Rise in Durban

Six years after being commissioned, artist Andries Botha has finally unveiled his huge elephant sculptures made out of wire frames filled with stones. Emerging out of a freeway island in Durban, South Africa, the artwork is made of galvanized steel armature with stainless steel mesh and filled with rocks from a local quarry.

Photographer and Artist Collaborate to Create Spellbinding Floral Collages

For Yen Magazine, photographer Rebekah Campbell teamed up with artist Ben Giles to create a beautiful set of collages that overlaid Ben's color-bursting flowers over Rebekah's stellar photography. This isn't the first time Rebekah has collaborated on a project with an artist but she calls it her favorite so far. Redheaded model Lauren Isabeau was the muse in the photos which featured her in a variety of sweet and seductive poses.

Artist Uses Calligraphy Brushes to Create Breathtaking Watercolor Paintings of Birds

San Francisco-born artist Karl Martens creates beautiful paintings of birds using materials not often paired together – Japanese and Chinese calligraphy brushes with watercolor.
